Recovering A Dining Room Chair

Materials You'll Need:

New fabric
Scissors
Staple gun

Instructions:

1. Remove the old fabric

The first step is to remove the old fabric from the chair. To do this, use a screwdriver to remove the screws that are holding the fabric in place. Once the screws are removed, carefully remove the old fabric from the chair.

2. Measure and cut the new fabric

Once the old fabric is removed, measure the chair seat and cut a piece of new fabric that is the same size. Be sure to add an extra 2 inches to each side of the fabric for overlap.

3. Staple the new fabric to the chair

Once the new fabric is cut, staple it to the chair seat. Start by stapling the fabric in the center of the seat and then work your way around the edges. Be sure to pull the fabric taut as you staple it so that it doesn't wrinkle.

4. Trim the excess fabric

Once the new fabric is stapled in place, trim the excess fabric around the edges of the chair. Be sure to trim the fabric close to the staples so that it doesn't fray.

5. Reattach the seat to the chair
